Sometime back a diehard NASCAR Fan dies and goes to heaven. When he takes his place in front of St. Peter, St. Peter recognizes his # 3 racing jacket, Goodwrench hat, Winston Cup Belt buckle and asks if he'd like to see the Raceway. In a flash the fan is taken to an area where he can actually see the activities within touching distance. He stands in awe as the racecars are flying by soo fast, he can pick out only a few, Joe Weatherly, Fireball Roberts, Tim Richmond, Alan Kulwicki, Adam Petty, Davey Allison. But wait, also in the pack is Neil Bonnet with That Black Car with the streamlined white # 3. with red trim glued to his rear bumper. The fan slump's into a seat, St. Peter he asks "I hadn't heard " St. Peter smiles and says, no, no, that's God, He just likes to think he's Dale Earnhardt ...

On February 18, 2001 at 5:16 PM, God felt it time to let Dale drive thru
Heaven's Gates.
